Engine stops after a few seconds

Harley doesn't make them anymore. Though I had more issues with after market. I used to have stick the stock one in, start bike, run for 30 seconds, then put after market in. I though maybe weak battery, but one time the bike was just off for 10 minutes. Eventually the coil failed, and maybe after market didn't like that?

I used to carry a spare igntion, until I had to use my spare, and then spare died.

So that's how you killed the coil..

What do you mean? For some reason my 2001 just goes through coils every 45k miles. The module is telling it to fire, so not sure that has anything to do with it. It has done it with stock and after market ignitions.
