Default interchangable tins?

Can anyone tell me if tank and fenders off another softail model such as dwg or nightrain willbolt up to my bike?I own a 1998 softail custom and have been looking for custom set of tins on ebay, but most that I find that suit my liking are for the dwg or night train models. Thanks for the help.

I *think* 94-99 softail tins are different than 2000+ tins.

Your 98 has split tanks and the 2000 and later have a one piece tank, front fender will work,as far as the rear fender it will fit with minor modifications, your 98 taillight won't fit so you'll have to use the newer design.
