Default Wrinkle Black to Metal?

Can the Wrinkle Black (on plates / covers- not engine) finish be removed and if so/how?&nbsp\\; Could a liquid / chemical stripper be used&nbsp\\; or&nbsp\\; would it have to be ground / blasted off?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; From the bits I've read on it&nbsp\\; it seems to be a baked / heated&nbsp\\; application of some sort&nbsp\\; so I'm guessing&nbsp\\; ground or blasted...&nbsp\\; just wondering if anyones tried&nbsp\\; before I go taking a can of paint stripper or a wire brush to anything....

Those parts are powder coated. It can be remove if you find some aircraft paint stripper, don't get the low fume stuff. You should find it at a hardware store. Coat the parts reall good and cover them with plastic and let it sit for a few hours, then scape off what you can. You might have to apply it a couple of times to get it all off there. The \\\\\\ crap in your post is somekind of resent problem with the site that they haven't figured out yet.

Take them to a powdercoaters and see what they'll charge you just to remove it. I bought a set of fender struts from e bay that were from a nighttrain and got them powdercoated gloss black.&nbsp\\;

Cuz I'm an oddball I spose&nbsp\\; I dunno&nbsp\\; lol.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I just think a metal&nbsp\\; primary cover would&nbsp\\; pop nicely against&nbsp\\; the other&nbsp\\; black stuff on that side of the bike.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Actually I never really thought about it till I saw&nbsp\\; a xbones&nbsp\\; sittin at the dealer&nbsp\\; with&nbsp\\; flat and wrinkle black&nbsp\\; and&nbsp\\; thought&nbsp\\; the&nbsp\\; look of the rough metal primary case&nbsp\\; looked cool on there....
