head vibration

I want to buy a new touring bike but everytime a ride one with a windshield my head vibrates.
I have tried different height windshields, different helmets, different glasses with same results.
anybody have same issue or suggestions on how to correct

I'm working on the same problem with my classic springer, with either the low profile or compact tall windshield, I get head buffeting. I like to ride with a full face helmet but I might try my 1/2 helmets to see if its better or just ride without the windshield and use my solo tour pack to support me from the wind blast. It sucks because other than the "head shake" the ride is great.

I agree, I love the ride of the streetglide but the fairing doesn't come off. So I have to go with the Roadking w/o the windshield. Must be a way around it. Not everyone riding with a windshield has the same problem...or do they?

My ultra with stock WS has no head buffeting.&nbsp\\; I have tried shorter WS and did not like them so back to stock.&nbsp\\; Ride all day long at 90.
