The only problem is one that can be avoided by a simple piece of cardboard. The manual will warn you. The
break light switch is in the housing and if you are not carefull you can snap the end off the switch. This mostly
happens when you loosen the housing for removal in one piece but look at this part of the job carefully and what I did was not only purchase the real manual, I purchased the parts catalogue. The parts catalogue has
more detailed pictures of EVERY thing. Good luck and its always safe to see, read, read and see before you
tackle anything.

you're right igniter, I hate it when I cut twice and it's still too short!

Ive got to go along with what every one has all ready said about the service manual they are a must have if you are going work on youre own bike. And I have to say augason realy hit it, get the part's book to go along with it.The sevice manual is good at telling you how to do something but the part's book will show you a nice exploded view of what youre working on and that can be a big help some times. And let me tell you when you go to the dealer looking for part's and hand the part's guy a list of the part number's you need youve just made a friend for life (don't know why but part's guy's just love number's).

Today was open house at my local dealer. 10% off. Guess what I purchased? A service manual. Haven't got the bike yet, hoping for Tues. (They're closed on Sun and Mon) and they're predicting 67 for Tuesday.
BTW, Markcuda and his lovely wife Sue were there as my witnesses. Very cool to meet my first Forum members.

Be careful with the break fluid - it can mess up your paint if allowed to get on it. Bleeding the breaks is not difficult, just make sure to get all the air out and having someone to help is nearly a must when bleeding the left caliper. I put on a stainless break line and here is a picture of my set up for bleeding the breaks. I agree with everyone else - the service manual is well worth the money.

Thanks folks for all the help. Spent the day today installing everything. I was very careful to follow the suggestions about the cardboard piece to protect the brake light switch but the rubber booth around the switch did break off. The break light works fine but should I replace this?
