Post Shutting Off

I have a 2007 Night train, under 9000 miles, all stock except vance hines pipes and an Fi2000 tuner installed. Had it installed about a year ago, currently when running at any speed then hitting the clutch, the engine turns off. ive tried adjusting the Fi2000 tuner yet no changes. Is currently adjusted back to specification yet still gives me the same problem. any suggestions anyone?

Think about your clutch interlock switch.....

Done any mods to the switch housings, grips or handlebar wiring......

The problem is in your left switch housing....

Either the clutch interlock is broken or you have a shorted wire....

It probably got pinched when you reassembled it and tightend the screws....

Thumbs up Shutting Off

I took the assembly apart and noticed that the wires were being pinched like u said. I reassembled it making sure they werent pinched and took it for a ride. It didnt shut off any more. Problem Solved. But if it starts doing it again i think ill replace the switch.

Thanks Shovelhead Bob.
