I have a storage question

I have to store my 2003 harley fatboy with a screamin eagle fuel injection kit for a year because i cant ride it right now with this cast on.But i was wondering if since it will be a year if i should start it up every once and a while and let it idle.thank you in advance, joe

Battery tender and gas stabilizer might help if you don't already use them.

Battery tender, fill the tank, plug the exhaust, be mindful of 4-legged critters, possibly take the weight off the suspension, cover with breathable material, shelter it. No condensation to worry about - you're lucky.

Put Stabil in the FULL tank and run it long enough to be sure the Stabilized fuel is in the complete fuel system....have someone take her around the block a few times...personally I would change all fluids,remove the air cleaner and spray fogging oil into the intake till the engine stalls...remove the battery and everything else others suggested...
