I got a new 06 Dyna Street Bob less than two months ago. After two weeks that I had it, all the hardware (nut and bolts) that wasn't chrome, oxidized really bad. The dealer said it shouldn't have happened that fast, but doesn't wan't to deal with it. I call Harley Motor Co. and they tell me its where I store it and won't do anything to help. I keep the bike in a steel storage shed with a pressure treated plywood floor thats been dried out and has a moisture barrier under it, no chemicals and no problems with my old bike that was kept in it. If anyone has had this problem also, or anyone can help I'd really appreciate it .
Got mine 8 May. I store it in the garage on a concrete floor. I've only ridden it 2K miles, because it's been raining so much. I havn't noticed any oxidation.
