Throttle cable question

Default Throttle cable question

Hi, new to this forum, 1st question of probably many more, I have an 04 Fatboy, just ordered a throttle cable which I wanted to install by Saturday for a run, it's 3.5 inches longer than the one I have now, is this going to cause any problems or am I going to miss my run and have to reorder. thanks

Welcome to the forum!
The Fatboy is a sweet bike - show us a pic when you get a chance.
To answer your question: don't think a slightly longer cable is going to adversely affect throttle action as long as it's hooked up correctly and adjusted properly.
The hardest thing might be trying to clip it to the other cable so they run in parallel back to the EFI - the extra 3-1/2" will cause that cable to run in a wider arc.
Other than that, should not be a problem - I say go for it. Hope it works out.

No it cause no any problem if throttle cable longer in size and you do not need to change it.You can fit that one.
