I have my first Harley, a 2003 FLHTCUI. I love this bike and want to make sure it lasts. Many people on here recommend doing your own, wrenching, but I find the prospect intimidating. I bought the HD Service Manual, and don't feel comfortable that I would be able to maintain the bike well enough to ensure that I am not stranded, or injured from a failure. If I had a mentor, I would love to maintain my own bike.
I don't know about anyone else, but I usually make a few mistakes, before learning the right way to do mechanical things. I would hate to screw up my bike.
Does anyone know if the Fix My Hogs video are good?
Thanks
