?? about Harbor freight lift
I've got the yellow harbor freigt lift and want to know can I adjust the lowering speed. With me on it (200lb) or my sons Suzuki (350lb) it goes down nice and smooth. With my dyna it just slams it down. There are 2 screws on the oposite side of the lowering pedal, I was just wondering if maybe one was a pressure adjustment and maybe the other a drain plug.

Just used my harbor freight lift for the first time yesterday, and had the same experience. I have jsut decided that I will hold the bars and makes sure jiffy is down. Someone else on here (4merracer) I think lowers it some other way so it goes slower...

If those HF jacks are like the red Craftsman(which I think they are)do not press the lowering pedal all the way.Just slightly press and you can control the speed.
