Clear protective tape
When I bought the 4-point docking hardware from Harley they supplied two small squares of a very tacky but very clear and semi-thick protective tape to kinda eat up the contact it makes with the latches on the inside of the saddle bags. Purpose to seemingly protect the chrome from metal to metal contact with the metal latches when the bike hits bumps, etc.
I'd like to find some more of that type of tape, in a roll if I could. Any ideas where to find that kind of thing? I imagine 3M makes it but haven't had any luck tracking it down.
