I just rode home my 2012 wide glide and that was the first thing i did. I used a tiny flat head screw driver and removed the fork reflectors. They actually craked into a few peices until i could grab the rubbery sticky strip that holds them on. Just be careful not to scratch the aluminum. I didnt even need to use goo gone because they came off and you couldnt see any residue or tell there was anything there. I didnt take the red ones of the fender struts yet.

Haven't done it but I read a lot of guys heat it some with a hair dryer then either use fishing line or dental floss to remove, and then wipe down with a solvent to remove any sticky residue.

Everyone makes way to big a deal out of removing the reflectors. Just pull them off with your fingers. Clean off the residue with WD40. Done it this way on my last four Harleys.
