I have a 1995 RK and want to change the bars to the Road King High Bars, part # 55954-00. But the fitment is for 1996 on up. Does anyone know the difference from 95 to 96+. Can I make it fit?
Thanks.
Well I put on the high bars (also called pullbacks) and they fit perfectly. I did not hide the wires, maybe I will do that this winter.
These bars are a little taller, a little narrower. I do feel more comfortable now, and do not get a sore back from leaning forward so much.
Now on to Sturgis on the 4th. That's 1300 miles one way. I look forward to that...see you there
