OK..........call me stupid!
I bought my wife an '05 Low Rider & want to hook up a battery tender, but don't see how to remove the battery cover. On my Street Bob there is a screw under the battery that holds the cover on, but the Low Rider is different. I removed the seat & still don't see how. What's the trick?
I plan to buy a service manual, but haven't gotten it yet.
Have the same problem with my OL's Lowrider. I think it's a childproof battery cover, which means only a child can open it. As a last resort, you can connect up to the battery side of the starter solenoid for your battery tender.
I thought someone with an '05 would have replied by now. I have an 03 and the battery cover is removed by removing the 1/2 inch bolt that goes into the frame horizontally and loostening the 1/2 inch bolt that goes it vertically (straight up). this allws you to push the battery box downward enough to remove the cover. If the 05's are similar, this might be what you need to do.
