Removing Rear Fender Support Bolt
Hi All,
I'm brand new to the site, so please let me know if I posted this in the wrong place.
I have a 2002 Dyna Wide Gilde. I just picked up a sissy bar a few weeks ago and started the install process this evening. I figured that it couldn't be too difficult to install, but of course I ran into an issue within the first 10 minutes.
I'm attempting to install the docking hardware. Kit number is 53992-02B. My problem is that I can't seem to remove the rear fender support bolt. When ever I loosen the bolt, it continually spins without leaving the thread. It appears that there is a nut on the inside of the fender, yet there is barely any room to grab the nut with any sort of pliers or a wrench. The plastic housing for the tail light rests over the nut.
I've attached a photo of the inside of the fender. Does any one have any suggestions on how I can remove the rear fender bolt.
