Hey guys I've seen mentioned of an available side car for the Ultra, but I have not found anywhere that offers it. Anyone know who has them & about what they run?

I believe '08 was the last year that they were available from HD as an option.
visit the side hack forums they might help guide you. however I've been told by a dealer manager be prepared to have your warranty void if you do add one on. recall million mile rider...his flags caused "damage to clutch" which in my opion bs. if the moco can find a way to void a warranty it will find a way. just want to give you a heads up...id consider a side hack once warranty is out for road trips of a lifetime with wife and daughter.
Thanks for the quick reply's. Yeah I had read about an optional side car in all the sales info, but could never find anything on it. my wife likes them, but I didn't ever take it too serious.
Harley brand side cars are very hard to find anymore. Harley stopped making their own a few years ago and it seems many of them that were available have been shipped to Europe I'm told. I looked for one about a year ago for my 06 RK Police. Several sidecar makers here in the states, I'm sure they could tell you if they are adaptable to the newer bikes. Don't know if you've ever driven a bike with a side hack but I highly suggest you test ride one before you sink $5k into one. I can tell you from personal experience, it's a whole new world of riding.
They aren't Harley, but they fit on a Harley and are quality products. There are many more manufacturers that have sidecars to fit your bike, but I thought you might be able to find one that suits you.
It's a shame that HD got away from these -would be a nice addition for a lot of riders... I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it's offered again on their new models at the time - just have to make it profitable for the bean counters...

If they had been selling them, they would have never stopped producing them in the first place, but you're probably right. If and when they think hacks are profitable, and worth the production costs, you might see them again. It should be no big deal for those that want a sidecar because there are enough manufacturers out there that make nice hacks that fit just about every model HD makes.
A good friend of mine here in town bought a used sidecar which was made here in iowa(don't remember the make of it).Their made in Sibley,Iowa. We mounted it on his 06 classic in about 4hrs.He bought it 3yrs. ago for $2600 and he love's it,(he's 76yrs.old),so there's plenty of good used one's out there that can be mounted on all kinds of make's and model's of bike's.Good luck on your search.
