Got a call from the HD dealer....my Tri-Glide (rich red sunglo) off the truck and in the service area at 1:30 pm
Had my pile of accessories (ka-ching) for the mechanic to install...will go back tomorrow with luggage rack and passenger floorboard covers. I qualified for the free (lol) BBQ.
Got to pay 'the man' then I can bring it home. Have pictures, but don't know how to get them from my computer to here

Know you'll love it Barbara... How's your weather up there in Idaho...?
Will watch for your pictures...
I know how excited you are Barbara!!!! Hopefully you can get some miles on soon. Winter is hanging around in Va. Have had a few nice days. Took the glide to Daytona so we now have 3000 miles on her! And she keeps getting better and better. One observation on the way there....put that baby in 5th to pass!!! We pulled out to pass a truck on a two lane and we were just sitting there. No power to get pass. Put that baby in fifth and bam.....took off like a shot. Probably a no brainer to most people.

That happened to us once, also - were passing in a 'head wind', imagine we were in 6th gear, we were just sitting there too - know my hubby does something different now - will ask him - know whatever it is, it works...
Since we had several days of rain to wash the salt off the roads, even though it was only 33 degrees out this morning, I went for a ride with Msocko3. It was certainly different than 2 wheels but it was great. Put on 84 miles and by the time we got back I was starting to get used to it. It certainly is a comfortable ride. Can't wait to take my first trip.

I asked hubby - he said he usually starts back further when he's going to pass, has no trouble going right on by... Otherwise he'd have to put it in 5th gear too...
