Default handle bar recommendations

Im searching for handle bars for my trike build. Ive the stock ones on now. I need to sit back. An example of what I mean. is when the steering is locked and sitting on the trike. The throttle grip isn't so far away from me. that I have to overly stretch to reach it.

I Have the Khrome Werks +2 Sweeper Bars on my trike. I am 6'3" and wanted the same thing. I also didnt want bars that were angled back at you at the grip. I have a wide chest so these worked perfectly for my needs
These bars sit higher and sweep back at you so your not having to reach as far forward when doing full lock turns. They are reasonably priced at around $70

Im curious if a rake 5.5 deg will make a difference. Correct me if I'm wrong. But do you have yours raked? Also,... what length over stock did you get your clutch and throttle cables?

I had the same issue. I'm 5'11" with a 29" reach. Armpit to my fingertips.

Even with a 4.5* rake and the stock bars I had to lean forward and it put me on the seat incorrectly. Hurt like a mother on my ****, neck and back. I too got the Khrome Werks +2 bars installed. HD makes a set too.. 55914-98 Pull Back Bars

One thing to remember when you change +2, Pull Back or Tall Boy bar. The clutch cable, both throttle cables will need to be changed. Also the switch wiring must be lengthened on both sides.

Well worth it and a great mod.

Besides the style of handlebar which I wanted and needed , I didnt have to change the clutch cable nor the TBW wires on my swap

Houston, we have a problem. My trikes a 1993 EGC. Looks like I'll have to go custom on all that. I'm leaning towards Narrow Ape bar, 12" rise.

RJ

Thank you for all the info.
