Pull a trailer? Com'on, I know you do...
I find it interesting all the anger and negativity from those that are trailer-pulling-ignorant?
This is something that cracks me up about these forums... I have seen several threads that someone will start asking people about "do you have this or that", or "have you done it and what are your experiences"... then all these negative nay-sayers who don't know anything have to give their 2˘ on something no-one asked for anyway.
If you have something to contribute based on experience, or questions because of a lack thereof - its all good, post away PLEASE.
But you angry opinionated and disgruntled poop spewing warriors behind your keyboard should more than likely get some ride-time in, or get back on your meds. Cause your tude stinks. IMO
And how safe is 90+ with Mama on back?....can you do an emergency manuaver at that speed? Again, just BS!

Just a few more pic's for the "young buck" here that has a problem with us towing......

From 1972 until 2001 I slept on the ground in a tent. In fact, the first trip I took, I just had a piece of plastic that I put over picnic tables and slept underneath. I still have the original tent I bought from Wards. Used the same sleeping bag all those years. Packed everything on the bikes I owned.
But I never 'camped.' I had to buy my meals in restaurants or gas stations, then drive back to the campground, and my morning coffee was again in a restaurant or gas station. Sometimes I sponged off other campers who took pity on me. I did the "Campbells Soup Honda 750 trick" many times. (If you never owned a 750 Honda four you probably don't know that a can of soup fits perfectly between the headers and engine block, and takes 20 miles to heat up to eating temp.)
After a final deluge at the Davis Rallye in Iowa in 2001, sleeping in a wet sleeping bag, I came home with the Bunkhouse Camper. The only question I ask myself now, is why did I wait so damn long? I'm off the ground as I sleep and screw in the king size bed, I can cook supper, enjoy morning coffee, pack clean clothes, have LP fired heat....enjoy a beverage without having to drive afterwards.
But the most important thing to me has always been the comraderie you experience with other bikers in a campground around a fire, having a few and shooting the breeze. You don't get that in a motel room. As my body has aged, so has my abilities to deal with it financially, and the camper is just one more step to continue to be able to do what I love to do, which is ride, and take camping vacations.
When I was young and stupid, I, too, acted like an idiot, and I went a helluva lot faster than 90 mph on my Triumphs, Hondas, and Yamahas. Now I'm (almost always) content to safely drive the speed limit or a few mph over, whether or not I'm pulling the camper, riding two up, or solo. If someone else has a problem with that, so be it.
If you haven't tried it, don't knock it. If you live long enough, you'll reach the age of maturity like the rest of us who did make it.
