Those are the stock headpipes with the can removed. They are just using the cat as the only source of a muffler.

According to a press release...

"Eight riders will compete in the new competition, with the gold- and bronze-medal rounds being broadcast on ESPN beginning Sunday night. The preliminary rounds will be broadcast live on Harley's Facebook page."

it also said "modified V-twins" so it may not be all Harleys. I'll watch it just cause they never did it before.
