I have a couple of questions though. They are asking 7995 and wondering if I should just hold out a couple more months and get a brand new 19 at tax season? Also are the ones in The states still built in the states? I keep hearing them being bashed for being built in India?
Production for sale in the United States and Canada is done at Harley's Kansas City facility; production for the rest of the world, including engines, is done at the Harley-Davidson India subsidiary in Bawal with indigenous components.

That is quite a deal so good for you. Who cares is right - Would they rather we spent our money elsewhere?
If its not a real Harley Davidson, then what the #%&@ is It? Stupid is as stupid does... they are a great bike for what they are made to do. Have fun ridding and walk away from idiots if they try and trash the street rod.

You would think HD and HD riders would be very happy HD has captured a new market share.
My buddy just came by and he is a hard-core HD builder and rider and races a ProMod 8.5-second HD. He had no idea HD made such a bike but thought my Street Rod was cool as hell.
The one's sold here in the USA are built in Kansas City and you can verify this by looking at the VIN.
Nothing is made in Kansas City anymore, the Kansas City plant was closed in May of 2019.
I believe they moved all the KC production to the York plant in Pennsylvania, but -- I don't know how to confirm that. The VIN will indeed have a code that indicates what plant the bike was made in, but we will probably have to wait for the 2020 model year to know where Streets and Street Rods are made now that the KC plant is shut down.
