Countersering
Hi!
Almost everybody i ask does'nt know what i'm talking about refering to countertering. Here what can hapen when you don't understand the technique:
I don't consider myself the best driver but since i countersteer , i feel more in control of the bike and find her a lot more predictable. Professionals racers say that it is the only way to negociate a curve on a motorcycle over 25 mph.
I'm amazed it' seems mostly unknown by to many riders. Do you countersteer?

I dont get it
How can you ride a motorcycle and not counter steer, or not understand countersteering? I think I had that down on maybe my third ride on the street, when I was 19 years old. That would be 41 years ago. Sheeeesh.

Everyone who rides counter steers even if they don't know what it is... It's physics. It's just that once you understand the concept you learn how to have better control of the bike.
When I first learned how to ride more than 30 years ago I don't recall them teaching counter steering even though we were all doing it with out realizing what it was.

I'm amazed at how many motorcyclists never really learned how to ride a bicycle.
The rider in the first video was riding too fast for his (or her) skill level, and was using too much road, even though there wasn't a centerline.
If you have to THINK about countersteering, you shouldn't be out on the open road.
