When I was a kid, this wouldn't have happened. You were taught (one way or another) that was unacceptable behavior. Parents weren't always your best friend -- sometimes they kept society safe from you.

This is what we call new age parenting ! and sadly its becomming more prevailent these days.
In my day I would not have been able to sit down for at least a couple of days after an out burst like that.
I didn't let my two girls carry on like that. They were taught respect & manners and now they are 21 & 22 it paid off as they are lovely girls.
