I was on a closed road of course. I've seen 132ish before but I always seem to run out of road before I can find out the top speed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGb4FxbwQJw

I wore a full face once and I just couldn't get used to it, and I also used to wear goggles and I also didn't like them. I agree though that the right gear can save your life, but being that I was on a straight strech of road and there are no cars on it (I did say closed road) I don't see it being too ignorant, but it also wouldn't be the first time somebody called me ignorant
I loved it. I wish you could have shot the road in front of you too. At 128 mph the only thing a full face helmet is good for is an open casket funeral. We've all done stupid stuff before. I hit 130 on a Roadglide with a Jim's 120 on it two years ago. It was my dealer's personal bike and I wasn't wearing a helmet at all. I live in Illinois where we've never had a helmet law so we're used to it. Of course, I spent 6 days in intensive care this past Sept. after flipping a CRF150R. My head hit the ground so hard it knocked the taste out of my mouth (literally, for 5-6 weeks).
