okay, if all goes well, i'll be bringing the mascot north on the 16th of may
i'll be riding north on 17 to 13 to 9 to the cape may ferry into NJ and they home

anyone who would like to to a meet - greet photo op along that route, let me know, im sure there are members along that route that would like to ride with the mascot

just let me know what area you live in, and picka spot for the meet, and i'll try to estimate when i'll be there

 

Ummm... I thought it was arriving and/or staying in Myrtle Beach for the 2nd weekend, THEN heading north? We had organized M&G's and expected to ride with the Mascot. What did we miss?

Not everyone will make the first weekend. I thought you were staying the whole week. If you can not make the second weekend, you should probably pass it off to FBFletch who is organising the meet and greet for the second week. Crash will be there the second weekend and will be able to carry it to New England after the second weekend.

 

That would be fine with me. I'll be there both weekends. I just won't be there Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I can pass it off to AcidRayn for the first weekend ride(s), he can pass it back to me after the first weekend, and I can pass it off to Crash at the second weekend M&G for ride that weekend and subsequent trip up north. That is of course if everyone is agreeable.

 

Hey, why don't you keep it at Myrtle and then it can be exchanged at Rolling Thunder on Memorial Day (somehow, some way). I know I am not missing this year!!! Whatcha say?!?!

Us Yanks will get it and then another tremendous photo op!!

 

I can even get it back to AcidRayn if he wants to take it around the Garden State and head it north from there...

Well, there's going to be a rally every weekend somewhere down here. So, one could continually make excuses that it needs to stay for "next" rally. At some point you have to say enough is enough and let the Mascot move on to it's next destination. In this case, the northeast.

Personally, I'd like to see the Mascot in MB for both weekends so as many HD Forum members as possible could get a chance to ride with the Mascot. Then, IMHO, it needs to move on to the northeast. It's been down here long enough. But, SKJOLD has been appointed moderator of the Mascot forum and the decision as to when the Mascot moves on and where it moves to is up to him.

AcidRayn, I don't think there's any reason for you to step aside as Road Captain for the first weekend. But, if you don't want to mess with it, I certainly understand.

Ultimately, I just hope that, whatever decision is made about the movement of the Mascot, no hard feelings are created. Hope to see as many of you as possible in MB. Let's all go there, have a good time, and let our moderator make the decisions about the movement of the Mascot.
