Default From Calgary to Hinton

Skidder held a meet and greet for the Alberta Riders of HDforum. And luckly he happened to get the mascot shortly before the get together. I wasn't sure we would make it, but we did and met a bunch of good folks. Glad we made it. Skidder has a place in the country near Cochrane where the event was held. Nice place, you can sit back and relax, and great hosts. You didn't go hungry or thirsty, there was some good eats. We met some Alberta Riders of HDforum. All were people you would have a get together with, or ride with. Was nice when we left we were escorted form Cochrane to Caroline by about eight riders. Maybe they just wanted to make sure we wouldn't come back It was nice to ride with them. When we parted we made our way to the David Thompson Hwy then to the Ice Fields Parkway. The ride to Jasper on that road is always a treat. Supper in Jasper then the last jaunt home to Hinton. It was a good weekend, we are both glad we made it and hope to see that group of new friends again.

This is what our ride looks like not all covered in bugs.

Skidders place.

Home away from home.

This picture needs no explanation.

Had to get a pose with the rides.

The windshield on the way back, picked up a few splats.

Don't know what happened. The last word on half the pics went to the bottom of the pic.

I wonder if that's as far North the mascot has ever been?
I doubt it will ever make it's way back here, I feel fortunate to have been able to hold on to it for a few days...one of the lucky few.

+1, skidder!

I see it as a reward for members' effort put in to keep the Mascot moving...
