boot1 and I have been working on an exchange to get the mascot back here to Knoxville. Will post details once they are ironed out. Then we'll figure out to get it moving northeast towards Eve.

Not me

Too bad it's not the last weekend this month. I'll be headed down to Marion, Virginia (Rt 81) and then turning around and following
Rt 42 (and others) back north again. Just a little weekend ride.

Marion, VA would be a convenient meeting point for me - an easy 180-mile/ 3 hour ride. If the timing works out, that could be a good plan.

LeadSled,

It would be cool if we could meet and pass the mascot along.
Here's my schedule, let's see if it fits the Mascots schedule.
June 26:
Front Royal

June 27:
I couldn't find lodging in Marion so I'll actually be over nighting in Abingdon, Va. at the Best Western. I think it's about 30 miles south of Mar

June 28:
We'll be then generally following Rt 42 north to
Harrisonburg, Va.

June 29:
Rt 81 N
Rt 78 E

to Clark, NJ
If it looks like we can work this out we'll exchange phone #'s.
(I don't pay attention to my phone when I'm riding , but I do check it at every stop.)

Then I'll arrange with Flysby and Eve to get it into NY.

Duecedog - The only day that possibly works is the 27th in Abingdon. That is just 150 miles for me, maybe 2-1/2 hours or so. What time of days to you expect to arrive there? My preference would be to get back home to Knoxville well before dark... and I'm not likely to want to do it if the weather is bad. So let's play it by ear and hope for the best.

I will PM you with my contact info once I have completed the exchange with boot1 and actually have the mascot in hand. Hopefully that will happen this week.

I would think that we should be in Abingdon by about 3:00. It's a little under 300 miles and we usually get an early start. If it works out that our time schedules match up, you are certainly welcome to join us for dinner and a cold beverage. You will join us, right?

We've had absolutely beautiful weather the last three weekends so I'm getting a little nervous that our luck is going to run out by that weekend
lol. We'd still do the ride but I sure hope its' not 4 days of rain.

Looking forward to meeting you and making the hand off.
