Hi Guys,
Im getting basically one loud pop if I crank on it up to 5-6K then let off, it decels nicely then around 3-4K I get loud Pop, almost like a backfire. almost sounds like it builds up then lets go. doesnt do it basically unless I do exactly that thing. I know, just dont do that thing right?
Im wondering if that means its likely too rich or too lean on my decel? Figured I could do a 5/10%+ and 5/10% minus and see but that seems like a lot of work, maybe you all already know.
1200r with AC / slip ons.
AFR 20Kpa set to 13.2 from 1750-5000.
Enleanment set to 0.5
Closed Throttle Spark set to 40 @ 320 degrees and 4Krpm
If your consistently taking the motor up to 5-6K , Please give me the VIN so I never have to deal with it after you decide to sell it!
only buying lugged motors are we? Better put Cvaria on that list too. where did i say i did it consistently? better not say I go to 7K occasionally too.
Before you make any tuning changes check for intake and exhaust leaks. If you have any mechanical issues there's no tuning that will fix that.
Checked and rechecked, but its so hard to confirm. I tried the butane trick and the lighter trick but dont see anything. I think its just my tune, since Im the one editing it
