So I have done 4 autotunes today of different speeds and gears and rpms. Problem it is still running kinda sluggish, no real power on accel and it' still running pretty rich. I can smell gas fumes while sitting still. Do I keep running auto tune basic or is there some stuff I can change or what? Kinda frustrated right now.....
What exhaust are you running?
You stated that Dynojet sent you a stock tune? That won't be very close with the changes you've made. You have to have a close map before auto tuning can be effective.
I have upgraded mufflers, rc exhaust is the brand. Yep contacted dynojet and told them what upgrades I added and they sent a stock tune to me. Guess I have to buy another tune now? Where do I go from here?
Contact ke5rbd. He has maps and can help. If that DJ map is like the one they sent me 6 months ago, dont waste anymore time with it.
Regarding mufflers, imo anything with baffles over 2" is a waste of low end as 57's respond positively to some back pressure. recently changed baffles from 2" to 1.75" and had sop gains.
How do I contact him on here? I'm new on here and don't know how to get around on here much. Lol. Yeah I'm getting not good results so far with the "base map" from dynojet. I ran it four times today in different ranges and speeds and I'm still running rich and bogging down. Any help is much appreciated.
How do I contact him on here? I'm new on here and don't know how to get around on here much. Lol.

I have a PV on my 16 Tri Glide and have been comparing several maps just for information. Most of the maps which are even close for my trike are about the same on fuel, timing, and VE numbers. Guess the PV uses a “basic” tune for each type of intake and exhaust, then uses the tuning option in the PV to do the fine tune.
What I’m gettin at is go to the PV site on a computer, download a tune close to your bike configuration, and let the tuner do the rest. It has limited authority (15%) to change each time you do a tune session so it will take several sessions to fill in the blocks. Then save and export THAT tune to the PV. Start the tune procedure again and tune YOUR TUNE again to refine it some more. Try to duplicate the same route, speeds, gears, etc so that you retune for all the variables every time. (Different gears and speeds for each tune will only confuse the box and the results will be hit and miss). Try to fill as many boxes as possible then save and export.
You can tune cold days, warm days, rainy days, etc as the tuner will “tune “for the different conditions. The procedure could take a couple days to a couple weeks depending on your riding time and distances.
