I am new to tuning. I have the pv1. My bike is a 2012 street glide with a 103 and I just recently added Andrews 57h cams ,and a stage 1 big sucker. Dynojet sent me a stock tune and I want to do Auto tune basic. What is the process from here?
I have watched those videos. Good info. The manual helps a lot. So after I tune it the 1st time from my stock tune and export it, then I want to tune it again, do I chose the same one I just exported to Auto tune it?
Got everything in and started the by with the preconfigured tune. Bike sounded kinda rough. Is this normal until it adjusts itself with auto tune. Also, tried to load the tune that dynojet sent and it said I was missing a file to open and load it. Any ideas?????
Yes, bike can run rough when in AT. Did you update WinPV then the dynojet map. The DJ map I was provided had some good things and some not good things. Where did you buy the PV? pm for more info.
I did the update and used a laptop to get the map from dynojet. I bought the unit from Dennis Kirk. They told me to contact dynojet. Lol. I found out my plugs are really black which tells me it running really rich right now. Hopefully the auto tune basic will fix it.
If you connect the PV to your laptop, the WinPV software also includes an PV Update Client program. With the PV connected run that for any needed updates.
Maybe the Tune Dynojet sent needed a newer firmware version. That may have been the error message you got.
