Power Commander Help!!
I have A 2001 Softail Standard FXST I
I recently purchased A Power Commander USB 3 its an 801-510 Model. Will this work on my bike! Please help before I destroy something.

yes, just make sure that you have the ecm tray also,,,if you dont have it, you can get one from Dynojet, it recesses the unit a little deeper in the fender so that when stacked up the seat fits correctly,,,,make sure that you download a map from the sight that matches your engine configuration to get started, then take it in for a final tune at a dyno shop. just find the map from the dj website that matches your set up as best you can.

Thank You Very Much I was just worried because when I looked up the part number it said (Touring Models) and mine being standard I thought maybe it wouldnt work! So do I just Plug in the Commander to my computer and download A map? And than plug into ECM?!

You must either have the 9. VOlt battery adapter of the ac acapter to power up the pc3 if it it not hooked up to the bike. Find your map on the website, download it to the contro software, install pc3 to bike,turn on igntion, plug pc into pc3,then load map from control center software to pc3, start bike. Ride, enjoy, repaeat. Then go to dyno shop for custom tune in order for the bike to take full advantage of your upgrade.
