Here is my problem. I just purchased a 07 NIGHTRAIN the dealer tech helped me select these parts for my 103 upgrade
SE twin cam httc for kit,
CYL Heads ,
CNC PERFECT FIT PUSHRODS,
D&D 2 into 1 exhaust
1550cc Fiber Head GS,
SE 258 CAM KIT, 06+
V&H FUEL PACK
VP92T VAIR. PRESS CL
But Im thinking he's not up to speed on the EFI as he forgot (missed) ordering a SE race tuner .SE race tuners are hard to get now as they are always on back order it seems .I recently purchased 1 on EBAY apparently still sealed in the packageing .Would any1 be able to help with a fuel map for the above specs .As once I get my tuner in a day or to .Im sure it'll take me a week or 2 to get it in the Harley Shop on the dyno .Right now it's running rich hesitates on the botton end and decel pops . Its getting maddening I would appreciate any help and suggestions
Cheers
ummmmm the fuel pak is a fuel processor, similar to the power commander and cobra moodules and what not. if you have that, you don't need the SERT. but the SERT will work better
I was told I need a SERT once they installed my D&D'S as Harley only has 2 downlaods for the 07 nightrain .AS Ive been told it can't be properly tuned without writeing a new fuel map.
I should have a very close sert map but that doesn't solve your problem of not having the sert. Waiting on six myself and the date gets further and further. Shoot a message or give me a call when you get the bad boy in your hands and we can def. help with the map.

Thanks for the imfo Im fairly new to HD bikes and went with what the techs told me .I didn't realize the VH fuel pack was a fuel tuner with many different opptions.Im guessing I should have a manual for it when they gave me my parts (heads, cams, ect) I dint see any VH fuel pack manuals .Ill have to look into that issue with my local harley shop later.Im not looking for any ones personel fuel map .I was just looking for some tips on how to pick out a canned map when i get my tuner .to get me by till i can get it back on the dyno for a complete tune up with the tuner .
btw is that standard fat cat (not boarzilla) and standard baffle?
The pipes are standard fat cat and standard baffle .Thanks for the offer but im not looking to purchase a fuel map right at this time .Hopefully i can get it on the Dyno with in 2 weeks of getting my SERT still waiting ugh.
If you can't take the Fuelpack back to the dealer for a refund then sell it on e-bay and use the SERT! You do not need nor should you use both. And, IMHO, the SERT is a much better solution.
well it looks like .I need to change the specs.I have listed on my bike .i just pulled the seat off and found that there is not a V&H Fuel pack on my bike .That apparently I paid $308.00 for .Only to find a TFI Generation 3 fuel injection module .Any thoughts on TFI Gen 3 Im sure i saw a spot in these forums about them .Ill track it down .Any thoughts .And do I need to remove the tfi before .I install the sert? hmm curious about the suggested list price on a tfi ?
