Does anybody know if the Battery Tender Jr will work with the pre-installed from Factory harnesses on the new 2006 models. There seems to be three holes on the new harnesses and only two plugs on the battery tender jr.

You should be able to wire the harness that comes with the charger with the 2 wire harness direct to the battery itself for the hook up of the charger.

Thanks, the harness comes already wired from the factory on the 2006 Fatboy but is has three inputs rather then the old style of two. My batter tender jr that I have had for quite some time only has two outputs, just wondered if it would still work wit the new harness already installed. Thanks and I apologize for the confusion. My tech talk is not quite adequate in most case, lol

Does anyone know what the third contact does in the newer pigtail? I asked my dealer at delivery and he said something about a newer style charger....but he didn't have it....I checked out the Del-Tran web site....don't see any three contact set ups there....I've been plugging my Battery Tender Jr in and it seems to work fine...but I'm curious what the other terminal is for????
