I have a 103 with a Dynojet Power Commander V. Straight tuner without autotune, and 02 bungs removed. It seemed to be working well for me. Today I went for a ride 60 mile or so barhopper. It seemed to run ok but was running very hot. I could smell how hot it was. 70 degree day and oil temp was at about 250, alot hotter than norm. My questions, is there some way I might have lost my tune? Is there a way to see if it is not working? Can I just reload the map to check?
Can't hurt to reload the map. Possibly it got corrupted. Also check the tuner connections to make sure they are straight, clean, dry and tight.
Test for intake and exhaust leaks, too.
Connect it to the laptop and check if various live parameters are being displayed..this way u can be sure if the connections are relaying the information.
Most of the time it is a sensor or bad connection causing run quality issues.
If the bike ran fine and then didn’t, look to sensors and wiring/connection issues.
Anything worked on recently prior to this condition showing up?

Huh ? Most tuners you can buy an additional licensing agreement so if you bricked ya bikes ecm you would only need a new ECM and a new license for said tuner.

Wrong! PCV is a piggyback tuner, If it takes a dump the ECU is safe. It simply goes back to the original factory tune.
