Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel InjectionNeed advice on ignition issues? Questions about a tuner? Have questions about a EFI calibration or Fuel Injection? Tips on Engine Diagnostics, how to get codes, and what they mean. Find your answers here.
I have a 2005 Roadking 90K+ miles, 95", G26TW cams, TTS Tuner, Big Sucker Air Cleaner, and Rinehart True Duals. I am getting an engine light on the spedo dash panel that comes on sometimes when I accelerate to get on the freeway or to pass other vehicles on the highway. The light will come on and stay on for maybe a minute or so, then go off. Sometimes the light will come on weakly and fade in and out, then go out completely. I pulled the Diagnostic Code, it is: P1353 Front Cylinder No Combustion. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this error code? Thanks
If everything checks out - talk to Steve Cole. It could be the ECM thinks it's mis-firing and it's not. In that era there were several OE maps that had the parameters too tight and they would report false no combustion codes. TTS maps were built off OE base maps I believe. But Steve will know. But make sure your ignition system is solid first.

Great, appreciate the heads up! By the way, who is Steve Cole and how do I contact him if needed,
IIRC the no fire code is the result of Delphi's ECM (HD ECM) not sensing the proper voltage curve on it's ion sensing circuit. I would check the plug caps and sockets in the ignition coil.. Make sure they are clean, tight and that the plug cap is on tight.
