Solid Red key light, No Start.
Hey all! I have been searching a few threads on the issue I'm having with my 2010 Heritage...
No Security alarm, No FOB, just a key for ignition lock.
I have a solid red key light on my bike now that is not going away and not letting bike start.
I have ruled out a few possibilities, but anything is possible!
When I turn the ignition on (and the RUN switch is ON), I hear the fuel injection prime up, the yellow engine light goes out (which is when we would start it), but shortly after a solid red key light comes on and stays on.
I checked all of the fuses under the seat with a multi meter to see if they had continuity, which they all do. I replaced any burned out bulbs that i had (rear turn signal and brake light) but am still having a solid red key light.
I went over the bike as much as I could to see if there was any bare wires anywhere else, but no other fuses are burning out when I try and turn the bike on and off.
I tried going through a procedure I found on HDforums here that explained how to bypass the security system (run switch turned off, ignition on / off (x3) and push turn signals in series should give flashes but my turn signals are not responsive so I'm not seeing how to do that one! Ha! But I also don't believe I have a security system anyhow!
Some of the symptoms:
I do not have turn signal capabilities. The horn DOES work, the Hi/Lo for the headlight works, the auxiliary (passing) lamps work, the running lights for the front turn signals as well as the brake light and running light all work. The odometer displays normally.
I have also put a charger on the bike while the battery was both in and out of the bike but the voltage comes back good!
I'm kinda thinking it would be my Body Control Module that sits right under the seat but I have no idea how to check and see if that's functioning...and I don't have anyone around that would swap one of theirs with mine!
I checked the diagnostics out on the bike and it shows P S SP t b . I have a "none" under P and SP but I have "no rsp" under the S and also the t and the b.
To my understanding I wont get a response on some of them because the bike is not equipped with it....no tachometer and the b as i understand it is a TSSM? Which in 2011 they were recalled but they possibly didn't have one on my year of motorcycle.
Maybe I'm getting all my things confused around, I've been looking through countless threads but not too many seem to fit my dilemma.
I'm going to go get some two relays that are under the seat to see if that's a possibility before moving onto buying the Body control module...
Any help would be appreciated. Any more information or any needed pictures, I can provide!

And I was unsuccessful in getting any relays at local auto parts stores and a local small engines shop was no help.
if not ford, drag specialties sells oem replacements for dirt cheap.
