Bad map sensor ?
Hey guys / gals . I’m working on my 99 dyna . It’s bored over to a 103 , stroked , cammed bike has ran after build for a few years pretty strong always keep up on general maintenance such as oil changes , plugs , wires , battery on a tender when parked . I started to notice it would run sort of “poor” or less power threw out the throttle ranges then one day it wouldn’t fire up at all and would cough out the carb with a few turns to the motor while trying to start. I went right ahead and replaced all the gaskets from the intake manifold , carb , air cleaner . Still same symptoms . I’m curious as to if a bad map would do this . The bike has no voes sensor . I don’t want to buy a bunch of parts if it could be something else that I’m missing but I think it’s a map but have no experience with one going bad yet . I also cleaned the carb and gave it the once over on all hoses / gaskets for leaks as well it checks out good
