Default BCM code
I have a 2011 Fatboy Lo with 18000 miles. Little red light on dash is coming on intermittently and sometimes staying on. I looked at codes and cleared but it keeps coming back. Code is under BMC and is 62138. I tried looking it up but not able to find anything. Bought bike used in September. It doesn’t have security system on it that I’m aware of. Any help would be great!

It is b2138. Low beam circuit shorted.

You sure it isn't ECM?

Ok it’s a b not a 6 that makes more sense lol. Thanks for pointing that out.

So I just put a new LED headlight on the bike. Wonder if that has something to do with it?

Yeah I’m sure. There are no codes showing under ECM when I go through all the diagnostics.

That would be it, some LED headlamps require a CANBUS adapter ( usually the cheap ones).
