yes thank you I just inspected all hose and wires It all looks new still..... I might just bite the bullet and get a HI-4N Crane This SE module is at least 15-20 years old.....and it better be the problem if I do this......
Very welcome.
I haven't checked prices lately, but you might also check out Dyna 2ki and or Ultima 53-644. The Crane (S&S now) had a bad rep and still does for some guys. The Dyna or Ultima have proven nearly bullet-proof for myself and countless others over the years. Only usable difference is the Ultima has faster max advance curves with WOT than the Dyna, which might be a concern with your strong build. But either one is easily programmable and a breeze to install.

Assuming you are running resistor spark plugs and not using wire core plug wires, I'm out of ideas.
I have zero experience with an S&S carb. I don't even read threads concerning them, but - I do remember guys saying if the boot on the accelerator rod is cracked/leaking (and it's hard to see unless you take them off), they'll cause all kinds of freaky problems. Just a thought.
Maybe post your symptoms in the carb, Evo or Shovel section. There's some sharp guys with lots of experience with those carbs on here... I'm not one of them though
