Thanks! Doesn't burn any oil. I do notice a stronger fuel smell when riding, but not sure if that is because of new-ish taller windscreen.
I appreciate you chiming in!
They are NGK Iridium DCPR7EIX plugs. Gap seems to be about .041
with today's fuels, it is harder to determine afr. trust me, you are burning oil, just not to the point you readily notice, nature of the beast. also of note, alcohol blends do give off a smell. stock jetting???
Looks to me like you're running too rich. The porcelin should have a gray to honey brown hue to them if running the right air/fuel ratio. By the way, keeps those threads in your heads long lasting. Use a little never seize on those plug threads each time you thread them back in. Standard practice for aluminum heads.
bustert - Thanks. I should have said not burning excessive oil! It has fuel injection and a ThunderMax tuner. I made some minor adjustments to the tuner to lean it just a touch. Seemed like it ran better after that adjustment. I'll check the plugs after a few rides again.

Thanks, too rich seems to be the concensus. I leaned out the mixture slightly in the tuner. I'll check the plugs again after i put some miles on her. I did put anti-seize when I installed; thanks for the reminder.
Remember your breather set up may intake some oil vapor or dribbles here or there.
I would go back to stock plugs and then compare them again. Better rich than lean.
Any tuner will likely solve this issue with the correct fuel ratio.
Stock breather and pipes?
Thanks. I should have used stock plugs. I'll get a set and try them out.
I do have a tuner (ThunderMax) and I leaned it just a smidge. I'll check the plugs after a few rides.
hanks for the help!
