I noticed Dynatec has a module as well???
H-D ignition coil should be compatible with the DTT ignition module. You can veriy with them, but I never remember having to change a coil for a DTT module. Back in the day, Screamin' Eagle ignition modules had some ignition module variations that required a coil change.

Daytona website specifically states that there is no advantage to using any thing other than stock coil

( To your harness question I can only say that on my `99 the only change required to add DTT was disconnecting the cam position sensor wire)
YMMV

As long as you have the proper ignition harness for that year, it will simply plug into the main harness and work. When I converted from Marelli to Delphi, I had to buy the proper plastic mount for the Delphi ECM. You will probably have to do the same for the ignition module.

When I converted my Deluxe EFI to Mikuni carb I installed the Thunderheart ignition and it works great. The Thunderheart comes with a new coil.
