loose map sensor. also my idle used to drop below 1000rpm after coming to a quick stop along with an occasional stumble. reread post #8.

Ok, having just stumbled upon this thread, the HIST part means that it isn't a current code but rather a historical one. These will reset after a number of ignition cycles (I cannot remember the exact number right now) but the current state is normal operation. The MAP sensor being loose is likely what cause the stumble and possibly the code as the MAP sensor leaked air in and quite possibly showed 0 pressure causing the ECM to question as to weather or not it was working in the first place thereby setting the code. The intake leak allowed unmetered and and unaccounted-for air into the engine causing a lean condition and a stumble.

i agree. I cleared the code a couple of times and it came back. every since I tighten up the MAP sensor she is back to normal and running great.
