2002 bone stock efi TC/88 Fatboy.
I have read to clear codes and reset the factory ECM to the original factory settings to do the following.
Disconnect the battery for 5+ minutes.
Use ignition on/off 4 times with 8 seconds between each action with the run switch in the On position.
Neither method seems to work. The latest one I read was to pull the ECM fuse. That seems like it would be the same as disconnection the battery, but I will try that next.
No go. Different years, different clearing methods. I don't have the 2002 Factory Electrical manual, but I see one in my future....
Me and this bike are getting tired of each other. The more I try to love it the more it pisses in my Wheaties.

Ya that holding the odometer reset doesnt work on the tach/speed gauge I have to use a jumper wire in the diagnostic port. And read the chk eng light blinks. Never did find out how to reset the ecm or erase trouble codes
