Default TTS Mastertune enrichen VE table

I'm wanting to add more fuel to my front and rear ve tables since I recently changed my ac filter from se oval to to the wider high performance oval one from arlen ness. Bike feels like it's running a bit lean or rough. I wanted to fatten it up some to see if it would smooth it out. I also changed exhaust from 2.5" baffle to mufflers with decibel reducers, so I think it might be more restrictive now.???

Would I increase or decrease units or percentage in ve tables to add fuel? And would it be OK to start with increments of 5 units? Any suggestions?

I don't have time to record a bunch of runs to dial it in atm, so trying to get it decent til I can record data runs.

You can fool the machine into adding fuel by increasing the VE. But a better way is to adjust the AFR/lambda

you shouldn’t just adjust without doing at least one data log run. To just blindly increase your VE table is not a good idea

Increasing the VE numbers increases the injector time, so it adds fuel. Roughly speaking, 5 VE units (1 unit = 1/2 point) on the TTS VE table will add ~.25 of a point of AFR. If it was at 14.5 @82.5VE, would become ~14.25 @85VE.
Changing small amounts of airflow shouldn't make big differences in the way it runs. More restrictive baffles tend to need less fuel, and that AC flows a pinch more, so the combo should be within 5% of where you were originally. You will be better off by using a session of Flight Recorder and V-Tune to dial it in, rather than adding VE points randomly (like throwing darts with a blindfold on).

Best description I’ve heard of guessing at calibration changes based assumption rather than data/measurement.
It would be better to leave the system to adjust for the minor changes from the stage1 (pipe/ac)changes. At least those changes would be based actual measurements rather than guessing at what the engine wants for best running.

agreed, but of course that’s for closed loop. I don’t understand why anyone would think you could change the airflow then blindly adjust for it. 🤷
