So I got thundermax installed, and now it seems I get some Low performance out of it.
When I first installed and mapped it it felt like i had more throttle response/torque.
Now (well over the 300 miles of autotuning) it runs fine, BUT
power seems low, i hit the throttle and don't feel the torque.
* I have the right Map (thundermax told me to set it)
* Autotune is ON (yes the new o2 sensors installed)
* Programming: I mapped it, checked autotune was on, set the 290 degree temp turn off.
So now I would like to get it to run OPtimal (most power)
So I'm wondering if there are some things COMMON to LOOK FOR that
Others have experienced here.
Either I fix it or I take it to a shop with Tmax experience, but i need
more out of it by summer.... :-(
First, check and make sure you are running in "Closed Loop" mode. Second did you do the intiailization? 3 on 3 off cycle as well as start the motor cold and let it sit and warm to 289? After that make sure you have no trouble codes "link up" and read the trouble codes all should be clear.
That's a good starting point. Should feel the power immediately if it's installed properly, fuel mileage will be around 30 MPG +/- at default settings.

I did what u listed above previously, except check for trouble codes.
I'll check that.
I did feel more power right after it was programmed, Now I seem to have lost power graduly as it autotuned.
Only Mods are Thundermax and Big Sucker air intake (open filter).
I'm running map 392, zippers told me to use that map.
I got Rush slipon's.
Well I wouldn't be running 392 that's a stock bagger with slip-ons. I would use 403 which is a stock Dyna with slip-ons. Attached is map 403witheditedAFR tables.
Download and delete the txt extension. I haven't done anything with basic settings so you'll have to make sure that closed loop is on (should be),speedo settings, etc.
