Default 4 pin -Accessory plug???

Has anybody utilized the 4 pin fused accessory connector under the seat opening??? Do they make a pigtail connector to make the job easy.
I found the adapter for the fat red P&A wire, no luck on the smaller 4 pin one.

2006 DYNA is the bike in question

Thanks

Brandon

Yes and yes.

HD sells an accessory adapter. It has a 4 pin deutsch plug on one end and 2 spade connectors on the other. It also comes with a mountable cigarette lighter type accessory adapter that mates to the spade connectors.

I have the part number floating aroundsomewhere. If I find it I'll post it here.

yes
the "bagger accy" plug has a copple accy ports to it and the 4 pin plug. same idea as a extension coard with a 3 outlet end. you could cut and splice the adapter and leave the bike harness intact.

they also sell the plug end and pins. that is what i just purchaced. I used the ground and one accy pin. the second accy pin is just a loop to the same circuit. the 4th wire on my bike was the rear light.

peace of cake. the adapter is about 16 bucks, the plug end and pins just a couple bucks.

The accessory plug is very useful. One terminal is ground, one is running light, one is brake light, the other is hot when the dash AUX switch is on. When the Ignition Switch is off so is all terminals in the plug. The adapter your looking for is called the Switched Circuit Adapter Harness, Pg 676 I in the 08 Parts and Accessory Book, part # 70264-94A.I use on connector for the Tour Pak Spoiler light - brake/running light, one connector for a brake/running light license plateframe and a third for heated grips (connected to the terminal that has power when the AUX switch is on)

The other plug is hot all the time directly from the battery. The Electrical Accessory Adapter that will plug into it is on Pg 676 D 1, of the 08 Parts and Accessory Book, part #70270-04. I use one connector for the Battery Tender, one for a heavy duty lead to a small 12 volt air pump and the third connector I placed a heat shrink tube on just to be safe.

Hope this helps you.
