I,m new to the Fuel injection game and had some questions.I have a stock06 Street Glide and want to put a SE air filter and SE slip ons. I really don't want to get in to the whole dyno thing. Is there a plug and go tuner for that set up?
Thanks
Jugg
1. You can have the dealer down load a map for that set up.
2. You can buy a V&H fuel pack
3. Or a cobra fi2000
There many many efi controls out there. It depends on how much you want to spend. And ask your self this do you ever plan on upgradeing your motor like cams or head work or bigger bore etc etc. Because then you might want to spend the money and get a SERT or PC3. These 2 set ups have canned maps for that combo on your bike and you can do it your self with out tuning.
I have V/H Oval slip ons, SE A/C and V/H Fuel Pak and my bike runs great. If you aren't going to do any major engine mods I would say the Fuel Pak would be a good buy. Easy to install & program yourself.
If you specifically do an SE Air Kit and SE Slip Ons, then the simplest thing to do is to have the Dealer give you the HD Stage one download. They just hook up to your ECM and flash it with a new Map designed exclusively for that setup.
Stage One Flash=$150.00
Depending on dealer they may or may not charge you the 1/2 hour Labor.
