Brightest bulbs?
I had HID in my BMW and all that was required was to find room for the ballast. My RT had horrible lighting and needed a lot of help. I hate driving at night but, sometimes you must. I believe these RoadKings would have enough room in the headlamp housing to hold the ballast. HID's only pull about 35 watts and the wiring is made to handle 55 watts. You need a bixenon kit like this in order to still have low/high beam. I still have a spare kit and I haven't decided whether to try installing it in the R-K or sell it. I find the lighting on my stock R-K to be very good. I would hesitate using a high wattage bulb due to overheating wires along with possible melting of housing components. Hope that helps.

Light is a wonderful thing to have at night just ask any body that's spent any time riding an old Brit bike.
(when the Lord said let there be darkness Lucas Electric was born) Ive used 100/55 H4 off road 0n my last 3 bikes and I don't think Id ever ride with out one again. They are good and brite when you need it then drop it down to low beam and you don't bother any one
