89 ultra no start no power anywhere
Need some help, i have an 89 ultra went to start it last week hit the start button and it made a pop noise and everything went dead. so i took off the front fairing to check for power at the circuit breakers. found power at the main breaker with the ignition switch off. if i turn on the ignition then i lose all power again. anyone ever run into this problem before? im thinking the ignition switch is shorting out but dont want to replace it if thats not the problem since its such a pain to get out. any help would be greatly appreciated.
